Certainly! Working with startups offers a unique blend of opportunities & challenges that often prove highly rewarding.
Early in my career, I served as Director of Public Relations & Marketing for NY-based contemporary label Abaeté. Along with securing local & national print, digital & broadcast features, I also orchestrated Spring & Fall collection shows during IMG New York Fashion Week. We also landed the first-ever design collaboration with Payless ShoeSource.
Later—from 2009-2013—I was the founding Creative & Editorial Director for StyledOn, a style-centric social network featured in The New York Times, Forbes, Harper’s Bazaar & more. Before Wantering acquired the company, I ran our SoHo-based office & was responsible for every touchpoint along the users’ journey.
